Start Date: Immediate Joiner Preferred

Are you a leader with a passion for bringing world-class events and exhibitions to life?

We are looking for a hands‑on Production Manager to lead our in‑house production unit for exhibitions and fit‑out projects. You will manage the full workshop cycle—from technical review of drawings and BOQs to material planning, fabrication, finishing, and coordination with site teams for installation and dismantling.

This role requires strong technical knowledge (joinery/metal/paint finishing), the ability to read drawings, and strong leadership to deliver high‑quality work under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Scheduling
  • Review drawings, specifications, and scope with Design/PM teams and confirm feasibility.
  • Convert project requirements into a production plan: manpower, material, machinery, timeline, and delivery schedule.
  • Prepare and manage weekly/daily production schedules; track progress and resolve delays.
  • Coordinate priorities across multiple projects and ensure workshop output matches site deadlines.
Technical & Drawings Coordination
  • Read and interpret shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and layout drawings (AutoCAD or equivalent).
  • Raise RFIs/technical queries when needed to avoid fabrication errors.
  • Ensure design intent is maintained while proposing practical fabrication solutions when required.
  • Coordinate with design and project teams for revisions, approvals, and final sign‑off.
Workshop Management (Joinery / Fabrication / Finishing)
  • Lead daily operations of the workshop team (carpenters, painters/finishers, welders, electricians, helpers).
  • Assign tasks, supervise workmanship, and ensure efficient use of workshop resources.
  • Monitor material usage and minimize wastage.
  • Ensure safe storage, cutting, assembly, painting/finishing, packaging, and readiness for dispatch.
Materials, Procurement & Inventory Control
  • Prepare material requirements and coordinate procurement with Finance/Procurement.
  • Track material deliveries, availability, and consumption against BOQs.
  • Manage stock/inventory for frequently used items (MDF, plywood, paint, lighting, acrylic, vinyl, metal, hardware, etc.).
  • Maintain clear cost awareness and support cost optimization without compromising quality.
Quality Control & Standards
  • Implement quality checkpoints across fabrication stages (structure, finishing, dimensions, branding placement).
  • Ensure outputs meet client expectations, safety standards, and project specifications.
  • Prevent rework through measurement checks, mockups (where needed), and final inspections.
  • Maintain documentation: daily production reports, QC checklists, snag lists, corrective actions.
Installation & Site Coordination (as needed)
  • Coordinate closely with Site/Project teams for logistics, delivery, installation readiness, and dismantle plans.
  • Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and dispatch planning to avoid damage and missing items.
  • Provide workshop technical support during site execution, especially for complex structures.
HSE & Compliance (Workshop + Site)
  • Enforce workshop safety rules, PPE, machine safety, and housekeeping.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal HSE standards.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and incident reporting when needed.
Team Leadership & Performance
  • Train and mentor workshop staff to improve productivity and workmanship.
  • Monitor attendance, discipline, and performance; coordinate overtime/shift planning as per project demands.
  • Build a strong, accountable team culture focused on deadlines and quality.
Skills & Qualifications
Must‑Have
  • Strong experience in exhibition stands / joinery / fit‑out fabrication.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and dimensions accurately.
  • Experience managing workshop teams and production schedules.
  • Strong knowledge of materials and finishing: wood, laminates, paint, acrylic, metal work basics, signage.
  • Good coordination skills with design, project, and site teams.
Preferred
  • AutoCAD (reading/editing), MS Excel/Office, basic scheduling tools.
  • Experience with CNC, printing/signage, lighting/LED integration is an advantage.
  • UAE experience (or GCC) in exhibitions/fit‑out environment.
