JASARA PMC is searching for a skilled Design Fire and Life Safety Engineer to join our innovative team. This role involves the development and implementation of fire and life safety systems for various construction projects, ensuring compliance with local and international codes and regulations. As a vital member of our design team, you will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate safety features into building designs, enhancing the overall safety and well-being of occupants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop fire protection and life safety systems for various building types.
  • Conduct fire risk assessments and analyses to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure that all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate fire and life safety systems into overall building designs.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, design documents, and specifications related to fire and life safety.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry practices and advancements in fire safety technology.
  • Provide training and support to project teams regarding fire and life safety best practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in fire and life safety engineering or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of fire codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NFPA, IBC).
  • Proficient in fire modeling software and building design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
