Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Generator Technician with proven expertise in Deep Sea Electronics (DSE) controllers. The candidate will be responsible for the installation, programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance of diesel generator sets and their associated electrical control systems.

Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and program DSE control modules for generator sets (Auto Start, AMF, Synchronizing, and Load Sharing).
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel generators and control panels.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic faults related to DSE controllers, sensors, ATS, and generator wiring.
  • Assist in generator commissioning, load testing, and synchronization.
  • Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and control panel layouts.
  • Ensure all generator installations comply with safety standards and client requirements.
  • Provide on-site technical support and attend breakdowns.
  • Prepare service reports, fault analysis, and maintenance documentation.
  • Support training and guidance for junior technicians when required.
Qualifications
  • Diploma / ITI in Electrical, Electronics, or Bachelor\'s Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience with diesel generators.
  • Strong knowledge of Deep Sea Electronics (DSE) controllers (e.g., DSE 6110, 7320, 8610, 8660, etc.).
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues on generator sets.
  • Familiarity with ATS panels, synchronization panels, and load sharing systems.
  • Basic knowledge of computer-based configuration tools for DSE software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
