Job summary

A leading FMCG company in Saudi Arabia is seeking an E-Commerce Commercial Development Executive to drive customer development and growth through strategic planning and performance analysis. Job title: E-Commerce Commercial Development Executive

1. Customer Development & Growth
  • Develop JBPs with key e-commerce customers (Ninja, Noon, Keeta, Amazon, etc.) and ensure full execution of agreed activities.
  • Design and manage monthly promotional plans in coordination with customers and the distributor’s e-commerce sales manager.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to review performance, activation plans, visuals, and improvement opportunities.
  • Propose and implement exclusive offers, product bundles, or visibility initiatives that drive incremental sales and share growth.
  • Capture and report competitive insights and market activities, translating learnings into actionable recommendations.
2. Internal Alignment & Collaboration
  • Align with Marketing and Demand Planning teams to ensure product readiness, promotional artwork approvals, and sufficient stock planning for campaigns.
  • Work closely with the Head of Commercial Development to feed customer insights into overall channel strategy and annual planning.
  • Support cross-functional reviews by preparing and updating performance dashboards, summaries, and action trackers.
3. Data Analytics & Insights
  • Track and consolidate EPOS data from customers to monitor daily and weekly sales trends, out-of-stock issues, and assortment gaps.
  • Build data-driven reports linking sell-in vs. sell-out, promotional performance, and platform rankings.
  • Identify growth opportunities through data analysis, customer feedback, and category understanding.
  • Share analytical insights to guide assortment optimization, pricing, and future JBP planning.
4. Distributor Coordination
  • Collaborate with the distributor’s e-commerce sales manager to ensure availability, correct pricing, and timely order execution.
  • Follow up on replenishment, listings, and promotional materials to guarantee 100% execution.
  • Escalate operational issues proactively to avoid sales loss or customer dissatisfaction.
Profile Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 0-2 years’ experience in FMCG, e-commerce, or modern trade.
  • Strong analytical and Excel/data-visualization capability (EPOS, dashboards).
  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
  • High attention to detail, persistence, and customer-facing confidence.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills across functions.
  • Passion for execution, speed, and tangible business results.
