About the job Document Controller - Project Controls Dept.

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive document management system to effectively track and organize documents.
  • Utilize document management software to efficiently scan, copy, and store both electronic and hard copy documents.
  • Employ document coding structure streamline document organization and retrieval.
  • Ensure the integrity and accessibility of digital documents by implementing appropriate backup and storage procedures.
  • Implement stringent security measures to protect confidential information, including access controls, encryption, and data loss prevention strategies.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate distribution of documents to authorized personnel.
  • Analyze organizational document workflows and identify areas for improvement.

  • Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures within Hill International and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Management or related subject.
  • Minimum 8 years experience in document / information
  • Technical knowledge of document and content management systems and typical data management applications.
  • Methodical and analytical approach to work, the ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. Excellent presentation skills.
  • Experience of working internationally (preference KSA experience).
