Responsibilities
  • The main purpose of the Document Controller is to ensure compliance with Document Control policies and procedures
  • Ensure having a proper control of documents according to client & project requirements and in conformance with ISO 9001 : 2015
  • Support the Sr. Document Controller in following the proper implementation for receiving, distributing and archiving documents and records / configure the same in the Document Management System (4Projects
  • per project / function requirements
  • Ensure the incoming and outgoing documents meet project’s requirements
  • Support developing a document submittal plan with the help from the operation team to identify documents needed to be submitted to Client / Consultant
  • Assist in Implementing and maintaining timely and effective document controls process, and procedures
  • Support controlling the distribution of documents according to project distribution matrix
  • Assist the inflow and outflow to ensure that changes and current revision status of documents are identified in conformance with ISO 9001 : 2015
  • Support in providing relevant versions of applicable documents at points of use in conformance with ISO 9001 : 2015
  • Assist in providing documents and records required by project staff
  • Sort and differentiate between documents & records and apply suitable identification to them
  • Maintain the document control logs
  • Provide overdue pending document reports to follow-up with Client / Consultant
  • Support in maintaining the document distribution matrix & 4Projects

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English (Arabic is a plus)
  • Diploma or relevant certificates
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in DC in a comparable sized operation to ESEC
  • Experience in the Middle East is a strong plus
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Demonstrate a strong practical knowledge in QA / QC Management, Project and Contractual Management
  • Well-versed in Document Management Systems
  • Good ability in analyzing and solving issues effectively
  • A robust collaborator and effective team player
  • Delivery-oriented professional with proven records of delivering success
  • Well-versed in written and oral communication
