Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Director of Sales and Marketing in establishing the sales plan and budget aligned with the company’s and hotel’s goals.
- Provide leadership in Sales, working closely with other department heads to manage and coordinate effective sales and marketing strategies for the hotel.
- Set the hotel’s rate structure according to company policies and hotel objectives.
- Maintain and upgrade communication networks to ensure the hotel remains competitive in information sharing and sales leads.
- Create sales campaigns focused on building relationships with clients and customers to encourage repeat business.
- Prepare presentations for clients, tour operators, and hotel staff; participate in sales events to foster productive connections.
- Conduct market analysis and develop strategies for generating new business.
- Analyze sales results and recommend improvements or solutions to issues.
- Provide monthly sales reports in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales and Marketing and hotel department heads to review sales efforts and gather customer feedback.
- Achieve the budgeted room night quotas and average rates as outlined in the yearly business plan.
- Periodically appraise the performance of Sales Managers and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Manage the department to ensure adequate staffing according to business volume.
- Ensure staff are effective salespeople promoting the hotel’s image and business at all times.
- Coach and counsel staff, especially department and unit managers when applicable.
- Provide ongoing, effective training for staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales & Marketing.
REPORT LINE & COMMUNICATION
- Report to the Director of Sales and Marketing.
- Coordinate with relevant personnel to accomplish all activities.
- Communicate effectively with guests, clients, partners, and staff.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel Management, or a relevant discipline.
- At least 3 years of sales experience in a similar role, preferably in a 5-star environment.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Positive attitude towards challenges with a drive to excel.
- Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
