Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the dental department, ensuring smooth and efficient clinic functioning.
- Lead, supervise, and evaluate the dental nursing team, providing guidance and support for professional development.
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate patient care activities, ensuring high-quality and compassionate service.
- Assist in the development and implementation of departmental policies, procedures, and quality assurance measures.
- Manage inventory and procurement of dental supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
- Conduct staff scheduling, training, and performance appraisals.
- Monitor department performance through KPIs and implement improvement strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Nursing/ Dental Assistance (or equivalent).
- Valid Saudi Council for Health Specialties as a dental assistant OR nurse specialist.
- Proven experience as a Dental Nurse or Head Nurse in a dental setting, within large clinic.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of dental procedures, infection control, and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards in Saudi Arabia.
Preferred
- Certification in Dental Nursing or Advanced Nursing Practice.
- Experience with healthcare management and quality improvement initiatives.
