Job description
Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the dental department, ensuring smooth and efficient clinic functioning.
  • Lead, supervise, and evaluate the dental nursing team, providing guidance and support for professional development.
  • Ensure adherence to infection control protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate patient care activities, ensuring high-quality and compassionate service.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of departmental policies, procedures, and quality assurance measures.
  • Manage inventory and procurement of dental supplies and equipment.
  • Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct staff scheduling, training, and performance appraisals.
  • Monitor department performance through KPIs and implement improvement strategies.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Nursing/ Dental Assistance (or equivalent).
  • Valid Saudi Council for Health Specialties as a dental assistant OR nurse specialist.
  • Proven experience as a Dental Nurse or Head Nurse in a dental setting, within large clinic.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of dental procedures, infection control, and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards in Saudi Arabia.
Preferred
  • Certification in Dental Nursing or Advanced Nursing Practice.
  • Experience with healthcare management and quality improvement initiatives.
