Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented Demi Chef De Partie to join our team at a 5-star hotel. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and production of high-quality dishes in line with the hotel's standards.
Job Responsibility:
- Assist in the preparation of menu items as directed by the Chef De Partie or Sous Chef
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipe and presentation standards
- Monitor food stock and place orders when needed
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Demi Chef De Partie or similar role in a high-end kitchen environment
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Diploma in Culinary Arts or relevant field is a plus
- Certification in food safety is preferred
