Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing project costs, ensuring financial efficiency, and providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes.

• Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost estimates
• Analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive cost reports for management review
• Collaborate with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation
• Monitor project expenses and track variances against budgets
• Conduct regular cost audits and implement cost control measures
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents and contract negotiations
• Provide expert advice on cost-related matters to project stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of cost management processes and systems
• Mentor junior team members and share best practices in cost management

Qualifications

• RICS accredited quantity surveying degree
• MRICS accreditation or actively working towards it
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar cost management role
• Strong financial management skills and knowledge of cost estimation techniques
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
• Experience with construction-specific software such as CATO, CostX, and Microsoft Project
• Knowledge of local construction regulations and standards in Saudi Arabia
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving project objectives
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel within the region as required
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus
