Audit job Overview

Within authorised area of specialism, undertake business assurance assessments in accordance with current procedures and agreed timescales.

  • Lead assessment teams effectively, ensuring that the visit is completed within the agreed timescales, and co‑ordinating team findings to reach conclusions.
  • Produce high quality assessment reports reflecting business assurance principles in compliance with accreditation requirements and internal procedures.
  • Ensure that all internal client stakeholders are kept informed of changes and issues, escalating as appropriate.
  • Pass opportunities and sales leads to appropriate colleagues to progress.
  • Pass client feedback and insights to appropriate internal recipients.
  • Maintain professional competence by keeping abreast of technical and other developments in own area of expertise, maintaining CPD records, updating CV, maintaining professional registrations and producing records of competence as required.
  • Actively build strong client and internal relationships.
  • Participate fully in Assessor meetings.
Verifier Overview

A lead verifier manages verification projects successfully from the kick‑off meeting through the delivery of the final report and statement. He / She interacts with the client directly, clearly communicating data and information requests and findings. He / She is responsible for upholding LRQA’s internal standards and ensuring the client is meeting the requirements of the specific reporting criteria for which they are seeking verification.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading verifications for a variety of clients with facilities worldwide. This role will involve travel, mainly within MEA but occasionally abroad.

Job Requirements
  • in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field,
  • Qualified to do certification audits for ISO , ISO and ISO .
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of relevant greenhouse gas emissions and sustainability data reporting schemes and sources,
  • Completed ISO - & training courses and
  • Past experience in supporting GHG and GHG verification projects with IAF recognised Certification Body.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills with a high standard of personal and professional presentation,
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is necessary,
  • Presence and credibility to represent LRQA authoritatively at the most senior levels across the industry,
