Role & Responsibilities
  • Lead outpatient and inpatient management of GI disorders in infants through adolescents
  • Diagnose and treat conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease, motility disorders, chronic liver disease, and malabsorption syndromes
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, including ERCP and capsule endoscopy
  • Establish multidisciplinary clinics (e.g., liver transplantation follow-up, eosinophilic disorders)
  • Mentor fellows, dietitians, and nursing staff; drive clinical audits and research in pediatric gastroenterology
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Medical Degree: MBBS or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Board Certification: Pediatric Gastroenterology credentials from UK, USA, Canada, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand
  • Fellowship: Completion of a structured, accredited 2-3 year Pediatric Gastroenterology fellowship
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years' clinical practice in a recognized Pediatric GI service
  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS)
