Overview

Consultant Paediatric Interventional Cardiology — Location: Jeddah — Job type: Permanent — Start date: ASAP — Salary: GBP 10,000.00 – 12,500.00 Per Month

About the Hospital

Originally opened in 1982, this National Guard hospital has expanded to a current bed strength of 800 beds to serve the needs of the military, their dependents, civilians, and VIP patients in the Jeddah area. This hospital provides specialist care in Anaesthesia & ICU, Cardiopulmonary Services, Oral & Dental Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Medical Imaging, Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Surgery, and the Home Health Care Program. It is also home to a state-of-the-art Oncology Centre opened in 2001 with Medical Oncology and Paediatric Oncology as the focus. Subsequent developments have expanded services to include Bone Marrow Transplantation, Brachytherapy and Outreach Programs.

Qualifications
  • 3 years Consultant experience in a Western hospital
  • 3 years post specialist qualification experience from the following countries: UK – CCT, USA – American Board, Canada – Canadian Fellowship, Ireland – CSD/CSCST, Australia & New Zealand (Fellowship), France – DES/DESC/CIS/DIS/French Board, Germany - Facharzt with sub speciality board, Other European countries according to the qualification equivalence tables of the SCFHS.

  • Education allowance for up to 3 school age children from year 1 to year 9 of SR 23,000 per child per year in or outside of Saudi Arabia. Those in years 10,11,12 receive an additional SR 5,000 per year.
