What you will do
The team is looking for a Conference Producer who demonstrates a finger on the pulse of our fast‑paced, ever‑changing industry. The successful candidate will confidently speak to expert speakers worldwide, sell the unique opportunity to showcase their knowledge and expertise, and manage the speakers and show order on‑site with meticulous organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high‑level relevant industry conference programmes.
- Liaise with key professionals, institutions, and companies for conference production.
- Engage with recommended speakers and confirm their attendance.
- Maintain and update the speaker database with current, accurate listings.
- Prepare and communicate creative brief documents to the marketing team.
- Lead tele‑sales briefs and set follow‑up meetings to track progress.
- Ensure all CME/CPD application forms and supporting documentation are completed online within deadlines.
- Assist the sponsorship team by providing leads and attending sales meetings as appropriate.
- Mentor other conference producers within the team.
- Conduct a post‑show analysis of the event, including job title analysis.
Market Research and Industry Networks
- Research topics with relevant industry professionals and the target market.
- Develop new conference ideas and programme content through meetings and tele‑research with key experts.
- Collaborate with the Director and sales team to generate ideas for enhancing the conference portfolio, recommending at least two new conference tracks per existing event.
- Identify key opinion leaders, institutions, and companies related to the event.
- Build and maintain relationships to develop conferences with relevant topics and speakers.
- Provide a list of leading specialist hospitals related to the event.
- Explore additional add‑ons such as workshops, poster sessions, and partnership with associations to attract more delegates.
Speaker & Delegate Liaison
- Liaise and network with speakers, exhibitors, and delegates on‑site to maintain customer service standards, resolve queries, and gain feedback, targeting at least ten meetings per event day.
- Assist with on‑site duties as required for the duration of the event, which may require longer working hours.

- Minimum two years' experience in conference production.
- Fluent English speaking and writing skills for individuals and groups.
- Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Commercial awareness.
