Job summary

A local telecommunications company based in Riyadh is seeking a hard-working Communication Telecommunications Technician. The ideal candidate will perform installations and general upkeep of telecommunications systems, prioritize customer satisfaction, and ensure optimal performance of equipment. Candidates must have a post-secondary education in telecommunications technology and be a registered member of the Saudi Council of Engineers. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Completion of a post secondary education program in telecommunications, telecommunications technology, computer science, or a related field.
• Must be registered in the Saudi Council of Engineers.
• Fresh Graduate or out of work for more than 3 months.
• Must have IT background.
• Must be Saudi National.
• Must be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
• Sound knowledge of telecommunications systems.
• The ability to interpret technical manuals and schematic designs.
• The ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Upgrading and maintaining the company's current telecommunications systems.
• Evaluating customers' needs and installing telecommunications systems that best meet those needs.
• Running routine tests on telecommunications systems to ensure that all components are functioning at optimal levels.
• Performing diagnostic testing on problematic telecommunications systems.
• Checking all wiring work done to ensure that there are no exposed cables.
• Investigating and resolving customers' complaints in a timely manner.

About the job Communication \ Telecommunications Technician

We are looking to employ a hard-working and experienced Communication \ Telecommunications Technician to perform all duties pertaining to the installation and general upkeep of customers’ telecommunications systems. The telecommunication technician's responsibilities include maintaining an accurate record of all work orders completed per day, answering customers' questions, and planning for installations by reviewing customers' orders and ensuring that all necessary supplies and tools are on hand.

Responsibilities:

• Upgrading and maintaining the company’s current telecommunications systems.
• Evaluating customers' needs and installing telecommunications systems that best meet those needs.
• Running routine tests on telecommunications systems to ensure that all components are functioning at optimal levels.
• Performing diagnostic testing on problematic telecommunications systems to identify and resolve various technical faults.
• Performing temporary fixes until extensive repair work can be done at a later date.
• Checking all wiring work done to ensure that there are no exposed cables.
• Ordering replacement components for telecommunications equipment and devices from suitable vendors.
• Investigating and resolving customers' complaints in a timely manner.
