Responsibilities
- Prepare and review cost plans, estimates, and budgets at all project stages.
- Monitor project expenditures and report variances against budget.
- Support value engineering initiatives to optimize cost efficiency.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and administering contracts in line with FIDIC or client-specific requirements.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Support preparation of commercial reports for the client and senior management.
- Participate in preparation of tender documents, BOQs, and procurement strategies.
- Conduct bid evaluations and provide commercial recommendations.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely award of contracts.
- Review, assess, and provide recommendations on contractor claims and variation requests.
- Maintain accurate records of all change orders and contractual correspondence.
- Support dispute resolution and negotiation processes.
- Identify and assess commercial risks; recommend mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to project governance, contractual requirements, and financial controls.
- Support compliance with local regulations, international standards, and client policies.
- Prepare periodic commercial progress reports for PMC management and the client.
- Liaise with engineering, planning, and construction teams to align commercial activities.
- Maintain proper documentation of all commercial and contractual matters.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
