Job description

Job Purpose:

• Perform engineering duties in planning, analysis, and design (architectural and structural), as well as project monitoring and control, for Al Safi Dairy’s infrastructure projects, in support of departmental and organizational objectives.

Duties, Authorities & Accountabilities:

• Analyze survey reports, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and other topographical or geological data through various technical procedures to effectively plan the projects.
• Prepare civil, structural, and architectural plans/designs in conformance with governing constructions and government standards and specifications.
• Evaluate or analyze materials specifications, bill of quantities, cost estimates, construction guidelines and procedures prior to approval of the same.
• Ensure that projects are accomplished as planned by inspecting project sites, monitoring progress and ensuring conformance with design specifications and safety and sanitation standards
• Give directions or participate in surveys to lay-out installations and establish reference points, grades, and elevations to guide constructions.
• Perform administrative functions related to the projects such as SAP encoding, preparation of contracts or facilitation of project-related documents.
• Update the Projects Manager on status of projects by providing periodic reports.
• Coordinate with concerned departments to facilitate data gathering required to perform the job.
• Perform other marginal duties assigned by the Projects Manager.

Qualification & Experiences:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• Must have training in relevant discipline (Project Management, Engineering and Design, etc.)
• Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.
• Proficient in English; Arabic is an advantage.
