Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic and commercially astute Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the organization's financial strategy, governance, and performance. The CFO will be responsible for financial planning, reporting, risk management, and capital allocation, ensuring sustainable growth, strong internal controls, and full regulatory compliance. This role is a key executive partner to the CEO and Board, providing financial leadership and data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making and long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Executive Leadership
  • Define and execute the organization's financial strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board on financial performance, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Support corporate strategy, investments, and long-term financial planning initiatives.
Financial Management & Reporting
  • Oversee financial reporting, consolidation, and statutory accounts in compliance with IFRS.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Develop executive dashboards, KPIs, and management reports to support leadership decisions.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Performance Management
  • Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes.
  • Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts, analyze variances, and drive corrective actions.
  • Oversee cash flow management, liquidity planning, and working capital optimization.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
  • Establish and maintain strong internal controls, financial policies, and governance frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, ZATCA requirements (VAT, WHT), and audit standards.
  • Lead internal and external audits and manage relationships with auditors, banks, and regulators.
Commercial & Business Partnership
  • Partner with executive leadership and business units to support profitability, cost efficiency, and financial discipline.
  • Review major commercial agreements, pricing models, and financial risks.
  • Support strategic initiatives, business expansion, and transformation programs.
Leadership, Systems & Transformation
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance organization.
  • Drive ERP, financial systems, and reporting automation initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or SOCPA is highly desirable.
  • Minimum 1520 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 710 years in a senior executive role.
  • Strong experience in corporate finance, governance, reporting, treasury, and financial strategy.
  • Proven leadership in complex, multi-business or high-growth environments.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
