Job summary

An international engineering firm in Dammam is looking for a Head of Technical & Engineering Department to oversee the performance of design consultants and manage a team of engineers. The ideal candidate will have over 20 years of extensive experience in engineering management on large-scale projects, strong leadership skills, and proficiency in communication. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and knowledge of industry codes and standards. Experience in the Middle East is preferred.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience preferred, with a strong profile leading large-scale projects.
• Proficient knowledge of procurement, contracts, and quality assurance.
• Experience working internationally, preferably in the Middle East.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design consultant performance and compliance with project requirements.
• Manage and control Senior Discipline Engineers regarding design aspects.
• Evaluate variation orders from design consultants for client approval.
