A leading food distribution company in Medina is seeking a Salesman – Cash Van to oversee daily stock loading, manage customer visits, and handle cash transactions efficiently. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the loading of the van every day at the warehouse.
  • Follow the daily route plan to make timely customer visits.
  • Discuss the sales order requirement with customer and take sales order.
  • Implement a proper distribution of the company's full range.
  • Maintain an active customer base of 240.
  • Book order in the sales handheld device, deliver stock, provide invoice to customers and collect cash.
  • Ensure cleanliness and appropriate arrangement of stock in the van.
  • Submit the invoices and cash collected to cashier in the warehouse at the end of every day.
  • Provide daily sales update through SPERT daily endorsement sessions with Sales Supervisor.
  • Handle customers professionally and address their queries efficiently.

Summary

Salesman – Cash Van (DRD) is responsible for Selling the cash van stores. He is responsible for visiting customers as per the daily route plan. He oversees the loading of stock into the van, takes account of stock availability at customers, takes order, oversees unloading of stock at customers’ stores, and collects cash reliably. He will be responsible to drive the Van during his visits.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the loading of the van every day at the warehouse
  • Follow the daily route plan to make timely customer visits
  • Discuss the sales order requirement with customer and take sales order. Make an audit of customer’s stock to identify requirement
  • Implement a proper distribution of Mayar’s full range
  • Maintain active customer base of 240
  • Book order in the sales handheld device, deliver stock, provide invoice to customers and collect cash
  • Ensure cleanliness and appropriate arrangement of stock in the van
  • Submit the invoices and cash collected to cashier in the warehouse at the end of every day
  • Provide daily sales update through SPERT daily endorsement sessions with Sales Supervisor at the end of every day
  • Handle customers professionally and address their queries efficiently
  • Inspect the damaged goods as per customers’ complaints and replace as per company’s guidelines
Additional Tasks
  • Ensure good maintenance and upkeep of the van
  • Supervise the Assistant and ensure his safety during material handling and commute
  • Escalate the issues to supervisor if required
