Summary

The Business Development Director is a senior leadership role responsible for defining, driving, and executing the company’s global partnership strategy to accelerate growth and expand market presence. This position provides strategic direction, oversees high-value partner ecosystems, and ensures alignment between partnership initiatives and the company’s long-term business objectives. The Director leads a team and collaborates cross-functionally to build scalable, revenue-generating partner programs that strengthen the company’s competitive position.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Partnership Acquisition and Management: Identify and acquire high-quality international and local resellers/partners; cultivate strong relationships with government ecosystem partners; manage relationships with key technology partners; collaborate with solution consultants to provide training and prepare meeting demos for resellers.
  • Training and Development: Spearhead the development of tailored training materials and resources for partners, ensuring they are well-equipped to represent our products or services; continuously assess partner performance and provide coaching and guidance to enhance their capabilities.
  • Representation and Networking: Act as a brand ambassador by representing the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events; organize partner events or webinars to foster community and share industry insights.
  • Contract Management: Take the lead in negotiating agreements for new partnerships and skillfully manage contract renewals; ensure all contractual arrangements are upheld, compliant, and mutually beneficial.
  • Revenue Growth Strategies: Collaborate closely with internal teams to align partner activities with revenue growth objectives; develop and execute innovative strategies to optimize partner contributions to the bottom line.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to inform partnership strategies; conduct market research to identify potential partners and market gaps.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is required; a master's degree is advantageous.
  • 7+ years of experience in business development, partnership management, or indirect sales roles, demonstrating tangible achievements and revenue growth; at least 3 years in a leadership position.
  • Profound understanding of the technology industry, including current trends and partner ecosystems.
  • Exceptional negotiation, contract management, and communication skills.
  • A collaborative and adaptable approach to working within cross‑functional teams.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel to attend trade shows, events, and partner meetings as required.
