Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Floor Supervisor to help lead and support the front-of-house (FOH) team in a high-volume, fine dining environment. This role assists with the daily floor operations, ensuring seamless service delivery, exceptional guest experiences, and efficient staff coordination. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with a passion for hospitality and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Guest Service & Floor Operations
  • Support the Floor Supervisor in overseeing FOH operations during service.
  • Ensure all guests receive attentive, elegant, and timely service in accordance with fine dining standards.
  • Act as a point of contact for guest concerns and resolve issues swiftly and professionally.
  • Monitor table turns, service flow, and team performance during shifts.
Staff Coordination
  • Assist with supervising and guiding servers, hosts, bussers, and bar staff.
  • Help ensure proper table assignments and guest seating to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Conduct pre-shift briefings, communicate menu changes, and relay service expectations to staff.
  • Step into service roles as needed to support the team during peak times.
Training & Development
  • Help onboard and train new FOH staff on service standards and procedures.
  • Provide real-time coaching and feedback to improve service delivery.
  • Promote a professional, positive, and team-oriented work environment.
Operational Support
  • Help maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the dining room.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, shift reports, and inventory checks as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless communication and service coordination.
