Responsibilities
- Assist in developing category/ Brand strategy defining product positioning in the market
- Monitoring marketing trends, competition activities and consumer insights to identify any opportunities or risks.
- Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports
- Participate in the development of the marketing function policies, systems, processes and procedures to ensure the consistent application and ease of operations.
- Prepare final reports for function heads and relevant stakeholders, highlighting major accomplishments, issues and actions that were taken against them.
- Assist in developing the preparation and consolidation of the Category/ brand budget as well as monitor and control the branding expenditures of Category/ brand to ensure that the financial performance of the Category/ brand meets the allocated budget until achieve top line, gross margin and net contribution targets.
- Work closely with stakeholders to assist in developing brand identity & brand image based on pre-set strategy.
- Support in the development and maintenance of branding guidelines for Category/ brand
- Support & contribute to execution of the marketing and promotional activities for category/ brand to ensure that branding activities reflect the intended image and achieve required impact for the targeted market segment.
- Participate & contribute in the development of marketing and communication materials for Category/ Brand by liaising with assigned creative agencies to provide well-defined value proposition and enhance market competitiveness.
- Contribute to building and maintaining relationships marketing agencies, creative houses, and consumer platforms, etc. to ensure the effective development of Sunbulah marketing material.
- Ensure brand guidelines across all communication platforms
- Assist in planning and executing for all integrated brand communication ( ATL ; BTL & PR )
- Support in development and implementation of consumer research plans, including continuous and ad hoc studies to understand consumer market needs and expectations.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand & analyze the market research and benchmarking activities to identify market segments, target market, industry trends.
- Contribute towards the development of Category/ brand “building blocks” (pricing, promotions, new products, market growth, marketing activities, brand campaigns and activation) for assigned markets.
- Coordinate with commercial and sales team to develop activity plans in line with the brand promo and pricing strategy
- Track promotion effectiveness and monthly deep dives with close monitor for brand & competition performance
- Ensuring proper execution & follow through for NPD’s results Vs the booklet.
- Collaborate with R&D team and supply chain to manage product launches and ensure OTIF delivery for new NPDs
- Contributes to the continuous improvement of marketing practices considering ‘international best practice’, changes in international standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans.
Qualifications
- University degree, preferably in Marketing or related fields.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in marketing / brand management.
- Demonstrated ability to drive a business agenda.
- Arabic: Basic understanding, Advanced level is preferred.
- English: Advanced.
