The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) at the King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) invites applications for multiple faculty positions in all ranks (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Full Professor). KFUPM seeks to attract exceptional candidates with interests and expertise in Industrial Engineering and related areas, with a desire to promote and provide excellence in one of the following:

Job Responsibilities

• Demonstrate teaching experience in the above-mentioned areas.
• Contribute to teaching and curriculum development for undergraduate and postgraduate programs and supervise undergraduate and graduate students.
• Demonstrate strong research potential as evident through publications in reputed archival journals.
• Conduct original research in his/her domain of expertise and play a lead role in research projects, leading to high-quality publications and research grant income.
• Possess excellent communication skills.
• Engage in high-quality teaching and fulfill the teaching requirement of the department (teach courses and develop lab activities at the undergraduate level).
• Take advantage of the most recent advancements in their area of study, and incorporate those advancements into the courses that they will teach.
• Initiate and maintain research activities/projects with faculty members that result in peer-reviewed articles in high-impact professional journals.
• Participate in service by being active in the life of the department and university, including development of the program, and other duties as needed.
• Also, he/she must adhere to any other job responsibilities imposed by the Ministry of Civil Service regulations.
