Job summary
A manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a candidate to operate a process plant according to SOP. Responsibilities include monitoring product quality, performing routine housekeeping, and ensuring adherence to safety rules. Candidates should hold a diploma in engineering or have significant experience in the oleochemical industry. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required, and the role involves rotating shifts.
Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent in relevant engineering fields preferred.
- SPM holders with extensive experience in oleochemical/manufacturing are welcomed.
- Must be able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Responsibilities
- Operate process plant according to SOP.
- Monitor product quality as per SOP.
- Perform daily housekeeping in the plant.
- Ensure adherence to safety and environmental rules.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
Skills
Education
- Operate process plant as per SOP (plant start up, shutdown, emergency shutdown, change over and normal operation).
- Monitor process operation and Product Quality as per SOP.
- Daily routine housekeeping in plant.
- Ensuring that safety and environmental rules and programs are strictly adhered to.
- Maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.
- Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent will be added advantage.
- SPM holders with vast working experience within the oleochemical/manufacturing industry are encouraged to apply.
- Able to read and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Able to work on rotating shift.
- Willing to work at Telok Panglima Garang.
