Job description

Responsibilities

1. Conduct legal research on relevant issues to support the legal team in advisory and litigation matters.
2. Assist in the compilation, preparation, and organization of documents related to litigation matters, corporate exercises, and other legal proceedings.
3. Drafting , reviewing , and various commercial contracts and agreements in a timely and accurate manner.
4. Liasing with internal departments to provide necessary legal advices
5. Communicating effectively with internal and external parties, explaining legal issues, and contract terms.
6. Keeping up with current changes in all relevant areas of law and contributing to the enhancement of the knowledge base of the company’s legal function.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor\'s Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent and admitted to the Malaysian Bar.
2. Min 1-2 years’ post-qualification experience.
3. Good command of both written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.
4. Resourceful and proactive, with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
5. A good team player with good interpersonal skills.
6. Adaptable to a fast-paced working environment.
