Responsibilities
- Planning: Plans all investment, development, and maintenance works at the site for buildings, grounds, transformer, generator set, machinery and equipment. Monitors cost estimates and development orders as well as projects for the construction of machinery and equipment. Plans budgets and necessary capacities under consideration of services to be obtained from external contractors. Obtains approval from M&E manager and site manager for budget planning. Develop and provide layout plans.
- Technology/Engineering related to the facility definition: Keeps informed about new technical developments. Submits proposals for the improvement of the technical operation, premises, machinery and equipment related to the facility. Planning and coordinating all installation of equipment. Ensures adherence to national and international standards and regulations for facilities and ensures its proper documentation.
- Infrastructure: Ensure that the site’s infrastructure is fully and efficiently supplied with electrical, energy, and other utilities. Manages the development of the infrastructure and buildings. Monitors and reports energy consumption and saving measures at the site in close co-operation with production units. Ensure, develop and control fire protection system/equipment and other safety related equipment. Monitor and control the structural integrity and provide the requested documents.
- TPM (Total Preventive Maintenance): Controls and analyzes the efficiency of planned and realized measures. Ensures correct documentation of buildings and areas and of maintenance plans. Initiates regular audits/controls of all areas and buildings, technical equipment, in order to minimize downtimes, to determine causes for failures and to correct failures. CBM&TBM, waste disposal, building security and space allocation for operations and space.
- Service provider: Define the scope of service according to the business needs with consideration of local regulations. Monitor the service provider discipline, performance and efficiency. Ensure training and improve costs for service regularly.
- Supervision: Leads, promotes, and motivates the employees within his/her area of responsibility, especially performance appraisal and goal setting agreement, personnel development and training measures.
- EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety): Ensures adherence to and monitoring of legal laws and internal regulations concerning EHS in his/her organizational unit and is occasionally involved in the development of new concepts and directives in close corporation with the EHS site advisor. Ensures implementation of the concepts in his/her area of responsibility and takes care of the corresponding instruction and training of his/her employees.

- Building By Law
- Minimum 10 years’ managerial experience in project and facilities
- At least a Bachelor degree in Engineering
