About the role

The Fraud & Payment Specialist is responsible for dealing with fraud risks arising from business activity, answering finance-related support tickets, chargebacks and PayPal disputes.

• Analyzing fraud alerts raised by the system and applying required actions such as disabling fraudulent buyers and authors.
• Working with payment provider's resolution centers to dispute claims where necessary.
• Advising users when fraud-triggering actions had been applied.
• Answering ad hoc finance, support and fraud-related tickets raised by users.
• Work collaboratively with support to improve processes related to finance.
• Replying to author’s/customer’s queries regarding payments.
• Sharing and collaborating with other team members as well as the wider Envato team members.

• Online E-commerce experience.
• Nice to have: Experience working in a Fraud Analyst role.
• Previous experience with fraud-related tools: Falcon, Riskified, Kount, or similar.
• Understanding the chargeback system with banks.
• Nice to have: an understanding of SQL.
• Intermediate level of computer literacy and Excel knowledge.
• Excellent English and Spanish in both written and verbal communication.
