A leading financial services firm in Mexico City is seeking an Index Manager to oversee various high-profile indices and support departmental activities. The role requires strong programming skills and an understanding of global financial markets. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and experience in analytical problem-solving. Grade Level (for internal use): 09. The Multi-Asset Index Management team manages a diverse range of high‑profile indices across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, commodities, and derivatives.
The Index Manager is responsible for overseeing a wide array of indices. The Index Manager is tasked with preparing and delivering presentations to Index Committees. This requires an understanding of index performance, methodologies, and prevailing market trends. In addition to their primary responsibilities, the Index Manager serves as a backup for other managers within the department. This role necessitates a thorough knowledge of the entire product line to ensure seamless support and continuity of operations. The Index Manager will become a subject matter expert and a back‑up for the team leader. In addition, the Index Manager will be required to:
