About the Role

We are seeking a Vice President of Sales (Mexico) to lead our international sales expansion for raw, frozen beef skewers manufactured in Mexico and exported to the United States. This executive will be responsible for creating and scaling a cross-border sales engine, building distributor and retail partnerships, and driving revenue growth through wholesale and foodservice channels.

The VP of Sales will own strategy, execution, and leadership for sales in Mexico while aligning closely with U.S. distribution partners to ensure product flow and compliance with USDA/FSIS regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Market Expansion
  • Develop and execute sales strategy for raw, frozen beef skewers targeted at the U.S. market.
  • Build relationships with Mexican distributors, processors, and logistics partners to support export volumes.
  • Secure U.S. buyers, importers, and distributors across grocery, convenience, bars, restaurants, and specialty retail.
  • Drive aggressive growth targets tied to volume, margin, and sell-through.
Cross-Border Operations
  • Oversee trade compliance, ensuring all exports meet USDA/FSIS and Mexican government requirements.
  • Negotiate trade terms (FOB, CIF, landed cost models) and align pricing for U.S. retail and wholesale markets.
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth cold chain, customs clearance, and delivery into the U.S.
Leadership & Team Building
  • Recruit, train, and manage a Mexico-based sales team and/or broker network.
  • Implement performance metrics, CRM systems, and reporting tools for accountability.
  • Coordinate with U.S. leadership on brand positioning, marketing, and retail execution.
Business Development
  • Identify and close high-value partnerships with U.S. importers, distributors, and foodservice groups.
  • Develop long-term agreements with co-packers and Mexican suppliers to secure capacity.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, expos, and industry networking events in both Mexico and the U.S.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of senior sales leadership experience in meat, protein, or frozen food exports.
  • Proven success in building cross-border sales pipelines (Mexico → U.S. preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of USDA/FSIS compliance and Mexican export regulations for raw meat.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) required.
  • Deep network with distributors, co-packers, and foodservice operators in Mexico/U.S.
