A prestigious luxury hotel brand is seeking a Travel Industry and Media Relations Coordinator in Baja California Sur, Mexico. The role involves providing support to the Travel Industry Sales and PR teams, assisting with client site visits, and maintaining accounts. Candidates must be fluent in Spanish and English, and have previous experience in hospitality or marketing. Formación

Responsabilidades

  • Assist Sales Managers with site visit forms and coordination.
  • Prepare written correspondence for Travel Industry clients.
  • Conduct detailed site inspections for clients visiting.
  • Assist clients during absence of Sales Managers.
  • Maintain accounts and assist with entering contacts.
  • Support PR Sales & Marketing team with copy editing.

About the role of the Travel Industry and Media Relations Coordinator

Provides administrative support to the Travel Industry Sales Managers and Public Relations Social Media team while being familiar with all aspects of the sales planning process.

What you will do
  • Assist the Travel Industry Sales Managers and PR Social Media team with site visit forms and site visit meet and greets, including coordinating room and restaurant reservations, amenities and transportation services.
  • Prepare accurate written correspondence including handwritten notecards on behalf of Travel Agents, reports and detailed emails to Travel Industry clients. In addition, assist with monthly Communications Recap for the PR Social Media team.
  • Assist the Travel Industry Sales Managers and PR Social Media team with detailed site inspections of the Resort for any clients that are visiting during a time when the Sales & Marketing team is not on property.
  • When Travel Industry Sales Managers and PR Social Media team are traveling for work or taking PTO, assist with getting back to clients via email or by phone and sending proposals for requested Resort stays.
  • Maintain accounts in Golden and assist the Travel Industry Sales Managers with entering their contacts into these accounts.
  • In the absence of the Travel Industry Sales Managers and PR Social Media team, assist clients and seek out solutions to requests in a friendly, caring and helpful manner.
  • General PR Sales & Marketing team support including, but not limited to, copy editing collateral across all departments in English and Spanish and occasional assistance with photo/video shoots.
What you bring
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required for this position.
  • College education preferred as well as previous experience in Hospitality or Marketing.
  • A minimum of two (2) years working in Conference Services, Reservations or Front Desk.
  • One+ years’ experience working within a luxury hotel or similar environment is considered an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity and customer service orientation.
  • Guest centricity and understanding of the importance of guest preferences.
