A technology consulting firm is seeking a Tier 3 Technical Engineer (Microsoft Expert) for a full-time remote role. You will act as the final escalation point for advanced issues across Microsoft 365, Intune, and Azure, and will mentor junior engineers. The ideal candidate has over 7 years of IT support experience with strong expertise in Microsoft cloud technologies. This position offers a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

Formación

• 7+ years in IT support with at least 3+ years at Tier 3 / senior level focusing on Microsoft cloud technologies.
• Proven ability to write / debug automation scripts (PowerShell preferred).

Overview

Tier 3 Technical Engineer (Microsoft Expert) – Remote (LATAM). Full-time contractor role.

Responsibilities

• Act as the final escalation tier for advanced issues across Microsoft 365, Intune, and Azure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve challenges in cloud infrastructure, identity management, endpoint security, and device compliance.
• Manage and optimize Microsoft Intune (endpoint management, application deployment, compliance, conditional access).
• Administer and secure Microsoft 365 environments (Exchange Online migrations, lifecycle management, DLP policies, distribution groups).
• Configure and maintain Azure Active Directory (MFA, conditional access, identity protection, security baselines).
• Implement enterprise-grade data loss prevention (DLP) and security controls.
• Collaborate with engineering & security teams on cross-platform issues.
• Lead automation, policy rollout, and security hardening initiatives using PowerShell or other scripting tools.
• Produce Tier 3-level documentation, SOPs, and escalation playbooks.
• Mentor and coach Tier 1 / Tier 2 engineers to elevate overall team capabilities.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Fluent / Native English (spoken and written, C2 level).
• Strong hands‑on expertise in Microsoft Intune (endpoint, compliance, security).
• Deep experience with Microsoft 365 administration, Azure AD, and DLP solutions.
• Skilled in cloud networking, conditional access, and endpoint management.
• Proven ability to write / debug automation scripts (PowerShell preferred).
• 7+ years in IT support with at least 3+ years at Tier 3 / senior level focusing on Microsoft cloud technologies.
• Proven experience managing service providers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft certifications (Endpoint Administrator, Azure Administrator, Security+, or similar).
• Proven track record leading escalations, projects, or technical rollouts.
• Experience with enterprise‑scale migrations and hybrid Microsoft environments.
