Summary/Objective

The Test Technician is responsible for supporting Samtec HDR (High Data Rate) Cable Assembly Work Centers for all Cable Electrical Test. 测试技术员负责支持申泰 HDR （高速数据速率）线缆组装工作中心的电气性能测试工作。

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

• Work as point of contact for escalation of LSET/HSET issues for HDR Tech team
• Provide floor support for Silverlode related issue and expedite to ATG Engineers as needed
• Act as liaison between HDR Technician team and ATG Engineers
• Create Electrical Test using Test Designer for LSET
• Collaborate with Process Engineers on optimization projects based on test yield data
• Create and maintain training and process documentation with oversight from ATG Engineers
• Assist ATG Engineers in completion of PTS projects
• The responsibilities as defined are intended to serve as a general guideline for this position. Associates may be asked to perform additional tasks depending on strengths and capabilities.

Preferred Experience

• Familiar with LSET, HSET, signal integrity test.
• Strong interpersonal, technical, verbal, and written communication skills are a must.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Must be a self‑starter with strong leadership skills.
• 2 – 5 Years’ experience in a technical & manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist.
• Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes, without suffering from sensory deprivation or paralysis of the limbs.
• Hazards and atmospheric conditions: Must adhere to department safety rules and regulations. May be exposed to noise (required to wear protective gear). May be exposed to hazardous materials & chemicals (required to wear safety glasses and other protective gear).

Education

• A college degree. 大专以上学历。
• Electrical control, electrocommunication, computer-related major. 电气控制，电信，计算机等相关专业。
• Technical degree is a plus. 技术学位是一个加分项。
