A global automotive safety company in Aguascalientes is seeking a Tech Support Manager to oversee technical support and maintenance of industrial equipment. The ideal candidate has a strong background in industrial maintenance and automation, with leadership skills to manage teams and projects effectively. Tech Support Manager
What you’ll do:Main Responsibilities: • Manage technical support activities related to corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance of industrial equipment. • Coordinate and supervise the automation and maintenance technical team, promoting training and skills development. • Ensure compliance with maintenance plans, machine availability targets and performance indexes (OEE, MTTR, MTBF). • Implement automation solutions and improvements in industrial processes, in alignment with industrial engineering and production. • Act in the analysis of failures and in the proposal of corrective and preventive actions. • Establish and monitor KPIs for technical and operational performance. • Control area budgets, including maintenance costs, acquisition of parts and third-party services. • Lead projects for technological modernization and digitalization of industrial processes. • Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards.
What is required:Requirements: • Higher education in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation Engineering or related areas. • Solid experience in industrial maintenance and process automation (PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, servomotors, sensors, actuators, etc.). • Knowledge of people management, technical leadership and project management. • Mastery of maintenance tools and methodologies such as TPM, Lean Manufacturing, 5S. • Skills in critical analysis, problem-solving and decision-making. • Advanced English for writing, reading and especially speaking. Behavioral Skills: • Active leadership and management of multidisciplinary teams. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Proactivity, organization and focus on results. • Systemic vision and capacity for innovation. Differentials: • Certifications in maintenance (NRs) and/or automation (Rockwell and Siemens). • Previous experience in the automotive sector. • Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts. • Knowledge of machine and equipment safety.
