A global energy company in San Luis Potosí is seeking a Tactical Buyer to enhance operational excellence through strategic sourcing. In this role, you will negotiate contracts, maintain supplier relationships, and monitor market trends while ensuring compliance with regulations. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Supply Chain or related fields and at least 3 years of experience in procurement, bringing strong negotiation skills and ERP system knowledge to drive innovation and sustainability.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure continuity of supply.
• Negotiate contracts and terms to optimize cost and value.
• Monitor market trends and identify risks and opportunities.
• Partner with internal teams to define sourcing needs and service levels.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation through tools like SAP Ariba Guided Buying.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
• Recommend and execute frame agreements aligned with business objectives.
• Support purchasing functions and communicate supply issues proactively.

Your Background

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain or procurement roles.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, regulations, and ERP systems (SAP experience preferred).
• Excellent negotiation and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment.
• Strong communication skills with English proficiency.
