What you will do

As a Systems Engineer, you’re expected to: As a key Engineer within the Computing Squad, you will be in contact with critical pieces of foundational infrastructure where the majority of Nubank's workloads run, including Kubernetes, AWS, Network, and Service Communications. You will contribute to our Computing product strategy, find opportunities to improve our infrastructure, and set a high technical standard for the team.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to improve our infrastructure in areas like performance, costs, and governance.
• Represent the team in different technical forums, being able to document, negotiate, and convince different stakeholders across various levels and chapters.
• Anticipate technical and product issues, making appropriate design decisions to avoid them.
• Deep dive into problems to identify root causes and deliver innovative solutions that address team-level challenges with a focus on medium and long-term impact.
• Understand the technical aspects, capabilities, and limitations of our systems, contributing to discussions and improvements.
• Contribute to our Computing product strategy, working closely with peers and Product Managers.
