A leading semiconductor company in Tijuana is seeking a Supplier Quality Manager to lead evaluations and approvals of raw material suppliers. The successful candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in Supplier Quality, preferably in the semiconductor industry, and an engineering background. Responsibilities include qualifying suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and leading inspection processes. This role requires fluent English and offers a chance to be a part of innovative solutions that enhance daily life.

Formación

• 5 - 7 years experience in Supplier Quality area.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry or related experience.
• Knowledge of quality management systems.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage raw material supplier's evaluation and approval.
• Qualify new raw material suppliers per Procurement's requests.
• Ensure compliance with IATF, AS, IFX QMS processes.

Conocimientos

Engineering (mechanical, Electronics or industrial preferred)

5 - 7 years experience in Supplier Quality area

Knowledge on ISO and IATF (or equivalent)

Descripción del empleo

Leads and manages raw material supplier's evaluation and approval, the requirements for raw materials qualification and supplier corrective actions.

In your new role you will :

• Being the link between the SQM Cluster function and the site.
• Qualifying new raw material suppliers as per Procurement's requests.
• Contributing to the periodic evaluation of the supply base viaInfineon's scorecards.
• Ensuring that the qualification requirements for new parts or revisedparts are met.
• Maintaining the supplier corrective action system.
• Participating in the containment actions and risk assessments whensupplier quality issues arise.
• Resolving specific quality problems related to suppliers that impact theoperation.
• Settling differences in terms of interpretation of specifications,defects and standards with suppliers.
• Following through when Supplier Part Change Notifications are received.
• Lead the IQA department to optimize the adequate inspection of incomingmaterials.
• Ensure Compliance IATF , AS , IFX QMS Processes and Proceduresand all applicable standards
• Securing sufficient resources for each area.
• Establishing the STEPs and following through on development of his personnel.
