Responsabilidades Clave
- Gestionar, iniciar y dirigir las actividades de los empleados y equipos.
- Asignar trabajo a los empleados, establecer objetivos de producción y comunicar instrucciones precisas.
- Relaciones efectivas con los empleados.
- Atender las inquietudes de los empleados con prontitud y trabajo en equipo con Relaciones Laborales.
- Monitorea y Asegura la capacitación de su personal referente al uso y llenado de la documentación relacionada con el puesto y aspectos técnicos.
- Implementar actividades que garanticen un entorno seguro de trabajo.
- Realizar reuniones con los trabajadores para solución de problemas.
- Realiza las evaluaciones de desempeño de su equipo de trabajo.
- Realizar inspecciones de seguridad semanales, inspecciones de 5 s, auditorías en capas según el plan.
- Participar en el proceso de acciones correctivas.
Requisitos Mínimos
- Ingeniería
- Experiência mínima de 3 años en procesos de maquinado.
- Montaje y fijación de herramientas.
- Tiempos de ciclo de la máquina CNC
- Interpretación de reportes de CMM
- GD&T básico
- Administración de personal
- Geometría de mecanizado (alineación, agotamiento, holgura, pieza cero)

This position involves heading a team in the Electrification area, ensuring continuous and efficient production operations in line with plans, procedures, and quality and safety standards and policies. In this role, you will aid in the transformation of parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely and cost-effective manner, managing resources to meet production targets.
This position reports to: Production Supervisor
Your responsibilities
- Perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line.
- Identifying deficiencies in production, proposing improvements, and overseeing their implementation.
- Identifying and recommending technical equipment and facility improvements.
- Works together with people from the business unit. Contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards collecting or giving technical information.
- Guiding, motivating and developing less experienced team members to reach their potential.
Your background
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related.
- Demonstrated experience working on a production line.
- Knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
- Experience with 5S methodology.
- 2 years of experience in similar positions.
- Intermediate English level required.

Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of manufacturing process, including planning, organizing, and directing workers to ensure that material are processed in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
Production Supervisor duties and responsibilities
- Scheduling production runs or shifts to ensure that operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Setting daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicating them to employees.
- Organizing workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
- Overseeing and coaching employees.
- Lead and motivate team members to achieve daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness throughout the production process.
- Reviewing quality control reports for accuracy and addressing any problems that arise with those involved.
- Monitoring inventory levels to ensure that adequate supplies are available for production processes
- Overseeing the production process from beginning to end, including hiring and supervising staff members and planning schedules.
- Ensure all safety protocols are being followed and take corrective action when necessary.

Job requirements and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial processes, industrial engineering, or related field
- Fluency in English
- Availability to roll shifts
- +24 years old
- 2+ years experience in a production leadership role
- Previous experience in a similar position/industry (desired)
- Proven track record of increasing productivity and efficiency while reducing costs
- Working knowledge of quality control standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, etc.)
- Analytical skills to monitor production output and check for compliance with specifications
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles

Position Overview
The Production Area Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the assembly and/or machine operations within the manufacturing facility in Mexico. This role involves leading and supervising a team of workers, ensuring production targets are met, and maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership and Supervision: Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of assembly workers and/or machine operators to achieve production targets and quality standards. Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor performance to ensure efficient operation.
- Production Planning and Coordination: Coordinate with production planning and scheduling teams to ensure timely execution of production orders. Allocate resources, including manpower and equipment, to meet production requirements. Monitor production progress and adjust schedules or resources as needed.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance: Enforce quality standards, SOPs, and safety regulations. Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to address quality and safety concerns.
- Process Improvement and Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, lean principles, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Health and Safety: Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with all occupational health and safety regulations. Conduct safety inspections, hazard assessments, and accident investigations as needed. Provide safety training and promote awareness of safety protocols and practices among assembly team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in manufacturing assembly operations, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably a tier 1 Automotive Supplier.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of assembly processes, quality control methods, and safety regulations.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing software systems.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English languages (written and verbal)

- Guiding, motivating, and developing less-experienced team members to reach their potential.

Your background
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineer or related.
- 8 years of experience in Production.
- Experience in manufacturing or automotive industries, leading a multi-level organization.
- Advanced level of English is a must.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Green or Black Belt certification is an advantage.
