Formación

Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Responsible for validating, monitoring, and improving our production performance with a goal of zero defects and achieving world‑class supplier status.

Ensures customer satisfaction by maintaining product conformity and solving quality‑related issues from incoming material to finished product.

Acts as a liaison with the customer, leading the implementation of corrective and preventive actions, KPI tracking, and quality audits.

This position is critical to avoid customer impacts and ensure continuous improvement throughout the production process.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and update quality KPIs daily (SCRAP, customer complaints, 8QB implementation)
  • Analyze customer complaints and lead the root cause analysis and implement containment and corrective actions (KATA – QRCI, 8D, etc)
  • Conduct process/product audits and follow up on actions for ensuring compliance with Customer Requirements (CSR) and IATF Standard
  • Implementation, training and follow‑up of the development of 8QB
  • Create inspection instructions and establish acceptance and rejection criteria
  • Identify and eliminate product issues, including stopping production to eliminate defects
  • Manage non‑conforming, suspect and SCRAP
Your profile and competencies to succeed
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar
  • Over 5 years’ experience in automotive or manufacturing environments:
    • Monitored manufacturing processes with a focus on quality controls
    • Strong proven experience in statistical analysis (MSA-SPC)
    • Led quality issue investigations and action plans development
    • Applied data analysis and problem resolution reports (8D - Root Cause - Corrective/Preventive Actions)
  • Advanced English
  • Proficiency in Problem Solving Methodologies (KATA – QRCI, 8D), Quality Core Tools, data analysis and advanced Excel
  • IATF 16949:2016 Standard
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Problem Solving Methodology (QRCI / 8D)
  • Quality Core Tools (FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC)
