RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Global O2F Framework & Governance
- Support the development, maintenance, and deployment of the global O2F framework, standards, definitions, and workflows.
- Ensure consistent adoption of O2F governance routines across all regions (cadence, KPIs, escalation paths, roles & responsibilities).
- Facilitate alignment between global O2F strategy, regional execution, and site operational priorities.
2. End-to-End Process Execution & Performance
- Drive improvement in lead time, schedule adherence, backlog management, capacity utilization, and on-time delivery by strengthening O2F processes at site level.
- Monitor O2F performance trends across regions and partner with functional leaders (Planning, Quality, Logistics, Operations) to resolve systemic gaps.
- Coordinate maturity assessments and readiness reviews related to O2F execution.
3. Translation of O2F Requirements into VOS Execution
- Convert O2F expectations into practical, daily operating routines using VOS tools (Tier Accountability, Visual Management, LSW, Standard Work, etc.).
- Ensure that sites have the right processes, templates, and behaviors embedded in their daily management system to support O2F flow.
- Support integration of O2F KPIs into site dashboards, Tier meetings, and leadership routines.
4. Cross-Functional & Regional Collaboration
- Provide direct support to Regional Operations, Planning, and Quality leaders to align local improvement activities with global O2F priorities.
- Partner with SIOP, Commercial, Supply Chain, Logistics, EHS, and HR/OD to ensure cross-functional alignment in the full O2F lifecycle.
- Coordinate with regional VOS/O2F leaders to ensure consistent deployment and escalation of risks or delays.
5. Global Change Management & Communication
- Lead communication of global O2F updates, expectations, and best practices to all regions.
- Support change management activities required to deploy new O2F standards, tools, or governance routines.
- Drive engagement and capability-building through workshops, training, and targeted site support.
6. Site Support & Maturity Acceleration
- Conduct site assessments, deep dives, and coaching sessions to identify O2F gaps and support corrective action plans.
- Help sites stabilize flow, reduce variability, and improve execution reliability through structured problem solving.
- Track and drive closure of O2F-related actions, risks, and regional commitments.
7. Data, KPIs & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and standardization of O2F metrics across regions.
- Provide analytics and insights to highlight risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities across the end-to-end flow.
- Identify systemic improvement opportunities and drive global CI initiatives focused on O2F efficiency and customer delivery performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, operational excellence, or project management within a multi-site/global environment.
- Proven experience in Lean, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Systems deployment.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives and managing governance or compliance frameworks.
Technical / Professional Skills
- Strong knowledge of Lean methodologies, operational excellence frameworks, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency with project management tools and methods, including planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data and present findings clearly.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with global, regional, and site-level teams.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to influence and drive accountability without direct authority.
Other
- Willingness to work across different time zones and travel occasionally (domestic and international) as required.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related technical/operations discipline.
Preferred
- Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) with a focus on Operations, Industrial Engineering, or Continuous Improvement disciplines.
Preferred Certifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Certification in Operational Excellence, Change Management (e.g., Prosci), or similar fields.
- Exposure to ISO/quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) is a plus.
