Currently, we are seeking a Sr. Firmware Engineer with at least 10 years of experience, based in Mexico City, Mexico. Responsabilidades

• Develop device drivers and application firmware for products using 32 bit microcontrollers
• Maintain and support existing embedded software
• Interfaces with other members of the development team, validation test and field application engineers
• Development and maintenance of firmware design documentation.
• Develop Unit and Acceptance Tests, and document test procedures

Calificaciones

Must Haves

• BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• 10+ years of embedded firmware development experience
• Knowledge about microcontrollers and internals is required and able to comprehend hardware specs and schematics
• Experience with Super loop and RTOS architectures
• Proficiency in C/C++/Python
• Familiarity with using digital scopes and logic analyzers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must have English language skills
• Experience in encryption and cybersecurity methods
• Deep understanding of the CAN protocol, including J1939, J1979, J979-2 and in general the J1962 protocols

Strong Pluses

• MSin Computer Science preferred
• Experience with eLinux architecture
• Experience with Cellular, BLE, and WiFi protocols
• Experience with Test Automation using scripting languages
• Experience with POSIX programming
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as UDP and TCP, TLS, and HTTP
