A global technology company in Mexico is looking for a hands-on Sr Eng Technician to handle diverse technical tasks including electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic testing setups. Responsibilities include maintaining test stand installations and logs, interacting daily with test technicians and engineers. The ideal candidate will have a technical degree and experience in aerospace or electrical industries, skilled in using test equipment and reading schematics. Strong communication and teamwork capabilities are essential for success in this role.

Formación

• 4 or more years work experience in aerospace/electrical industry.
• Ability to follow step by step procedures and follow precise instructions.

• Perform Test Stand Inspection, Installation, and documentation.
• Keep detailed logs for Maintenance, Troubleshooting and Testing Process.
• Daily coordination with test Technicians and Engineers.

Descripción del empleo

Sr Eng Technician position performs hands-on diverse technical tasks related to Honeywell aircraft Electric, Electropneumatic, Hydraulic component testing setup preparation and execution process. This position will support test stand preparation, inspection, and documentation, troubleshooting and fault isolation of these test components when testing. Proactiveness, good communication skills and discipline are essential for this position. This job entails electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic setups for component functional testing. It includes the ability to prepare test stands and operate special test equipment to perform functional testing. It requires handling and manipulation of delicate hardware and assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Perform Test Stand Inspection, Installation, and documentation to create special test instructions, Components/Hardware inventory, execute test stand maintenance program and instrumentation calibration plans
• Keep detailed logs for Maintenance, Troubleshooting and Testing Process and operating system tasks in a daily basis, demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement
• Daily coordination and interaction with both test Technicians and Engineers. Effective communication and teamwork skills are critical to execute these duties

Qualifications

Must Have

• Electrical or related Technical Degree (4 or more years work experience in aerospace/electrical industry)
• Experience with General Purpose test equipment and instrumentation (multimeters, pressure, temp, flow sensors)
• Ability to read Electrical Schematics
