Descripción del empleo

The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, handling, storing, and shipping merchandise according to procedures that ensure quality and integrity throughout the supply chain, complying with the organization's environmental requirements and commitments.

What will you do?

  • Reception and verification of raw materials and general merchandise, with their respective capture in the JDE and generation of applicable documentation in accordance with our Quality and Environmental management systems and financial controls.
  • Storage and handling of merchandise in accordance with applicable segregation and special care requirements.
  • Ensure correct identification of stored merchandise by printing labels according to our procedures.
  • Support the ongoing evaluation of suppliers in the JDE system as stipulated in our procedures.
  • Supply of merchandise samples for their evolution by the Quality Control Laboratory.
  • Support in the generation and distribution of applicable documentation according to the requirements of the Quality and Environmental systems and financial controls.
  • Support in inventory control according to the organization's objectives, through the practices stipulated in our policies, such as inventory counts and adjustments, and applicable practices to prevent obsolescence.
  • Supply of necessary merchandise to the production area for the manufacture of intermediates and finished products.
  • Scheduling and dispatching shipments of finished products or general merchandise to clients, external warehouses, or any other applicable destination.
  • Support with the returnable packaging program, from its agreement with the client to its proper implementation, including the container recycling station.
  • Support with maintaining order and cleanliness in all storage areas, merchandise receiving and dispatch bays, pumping stations, vehicle scales, and vehicle maneuvering yards.
  • Supervising the workday of assigned personnel to ensure compliance with our labor policies.
  • Manage the resources of the area, ensuring the proper functioning of facilities, equipment, and tools necessary to carry out the responsibilities.
  • Ensure the proper staff structure, as well as the necessary skills within the group to fulfill their responsibilities.

What are we looking for?

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related
2+ year of Warehouse & Logistics experience
