About the role

The SFE Manager plays a pivotal role in driving strategic growth and operational efficiency across the commercial organization. This individual will lead initiatives that optimize sales force effectiveness, pricing strategies, market segmentation, and go-to-market models. The role demands a deep understanding of healthcare systems, regulatory environments, and customer dynamics.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Sales Force Effectiveness: Design and implement performance metrics, incentive plans, and territory alignment strategies
  • Sales Force Effectiveness: Support CRM adoption when available, and utilization across sales teams
  • Sales Force Effectiveness: Support and champion training and capability-building programs for sales and marketing teams locally
  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Collaborate with leadership to define commercial strategies aligned with business goals
  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Lead cross-functional projects to improve market access and customer engagement
  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform strategy
  • Pricing & Revenue Optimization: Support pricing models and discounting frameworks that maximize profitability in alignment with Marketing & Sales
  • Pricing & Revenue Optimization: Monitor pricing compliance and support contract negotiations
  • Data & Analytics: Leverage data to identify growth opportunities and operational inefficiencies
  • Data & Analytics: Build dashboards and reporting tools (ideally in Power Bi) to support decision-making
  • Process Improvement: Streamline commercial processes to enhance agility and scalability
  • Process Improvement: Implement best practices across country regions and product lines
Skills and Experience
  • Strategic & Analytical: Ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Strategic & Analytical: Experience with market segmentation, forecasting, and sales modeling
  • Strategic & Analytical: Strong business acumen with a focus on profitability and growth levers
  • Data & Digital Fluency: Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and Excel
  • Data & Digital Fluency: Familiarity with data governance, pipeline analytics, and performance dashboards
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Skilled in working across departments: sales, marketing, finance, regulatory, and supply chain
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to lead without authority and influence senior stakeholders
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience managing cross-functional projects and change initiatives
  • Communication & Presentation: Clear and persuasive communicator, both written and verbal
  • Communication & Presentation: Comfortable presenting to executive leadership and external partners
  • Communication & Presentation: Capable of simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences
  • Functional Experience: Prior roles in sales operations, commercial strategy, pricing, or business analytics
  • Functional Experience: Proven track record of driving sales force effectiveness and commercial performance
  • Functional Experience: Experience designing and implementing incentive compensation plans
Qualifications and Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields with strong numerical knowledge, proven analytic skills and business acumen
  • Fluent English
  • Proven experience in commercial excellence, sales operations or strategy roles
  • Experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools like Excel, Power BI and CRM Platforms (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and project leadership abilities
Travel Requirements

Position may involve travel up to 25% of the time, mostly within North region, but mainly in Mexico to interact with Sales Force in the field and with distributors in our indirect market.
