Publicis Sapient is seeking a Senior Python Engineer to join a high-impact engineering team working with one of the largest healthcare holdings in the world. In this role, you will help build secure, cloud-native backend services that support mission-critical healthcare platforms used at global scale.

You’ll collaborate with distributed, cross-functional teams and client stakeholders, contributing to systems where security, reliability, and performance truly matter. While Python is the primary focus, you’ll operate in a polyglot environment with exposure to Java-based services.

Your Impact

• Design, build, and support backend services using Python, following clean code and scalable architecture principles.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs, applying best practices for performance, versioning, and error handling.
• Build and operate cloud-native solutions using AWS Lambda, RDS, and IAM.
• Implement and enforce security standards, including JWT and OAuth2, across backend services.
• Ensure high availability, observability, and operational excellence in production environments.
• Work closely with product, QA, DevOps, and client teams in an Agile delivery model.
• Communicate clearly and confidently in a client‑facing environment.

Skills & Experience

Must Have

• 5+ years of backend development experience with strong hands‑on Python.
• Solid experience with AWS, specifically Lambda functions, RDS, and IAM.
• Strong understanding of REST API design and best practices.
• Hands‑on experience with authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth2).
• Experience building and supporting cloud‑based, distributed systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps fundamentals.
• Strong English communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Java or Spring Boot microservices.
• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with event‑driven architectures.
