Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to functional leaders — aligning people strategies with business goals, and providing thoughtful guidance on team health, performance, and engagement.
- Drive org design and headcount planning , advising on team structure, role clarity, and growth paths.
- Coach managers and emerging leaders , helping build leadership capability across teams.
- Handle employee relations (probation periods, exit interviews, 90 days check-ins with line managers,…) and performance topics with sound judgment, empathy, and consistency.
- Use people data (engagement, attrition, performance) to identify patterns and shape proactive interventions.
- Lead change on the people side of restructures, team evolution, or cultural initiatives.
- Own the full employee experience , from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring it's scalable, human, and values‑aligned.
- Model and reinforce Hostaway's values through everything you do — from advising leaders to driving programs.
- 4-6 years of experience in People Operations / HR Business Partner roles, ideally in a scaling, remote-first, or tech-driven environment.
- Strong ability to build trust and influence across all levels of the organization.
- Hands‑on experience with org design, employee relations, coaching, and performance management .
- A strategic thinker who's also comfortable rolling up their sleeves and delivering day‑to‑day support.
- Excellent communication skills, high emotional intelligence, and a deep sense of integrity.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform decision‑making.
- Someone who's excited to bring clarity to ambiguity and structure to growth.
