Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Backend Developer with experience in Node.js and TypeScript to join our growing team. As a Mid-Level Backend Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of backend systems, working closely with a collaborative team to deliver efficient and scalable solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Participate in the design and implementation of backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Contribute to the development of server-side logic and APIs.
• Database Interaction:
  • Assist in designing and maintaining databases, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to implement efficient database queries.
• API Development:
  • Develop and maintain APIs, ensuring compatibility with frontend components and external services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration.
• Code Quality and Collaboration:
  • Write clean, maintainable code and adhere to coding standards.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Architecture Understanding:
  • Gain an understanding of backend architecture and contribute ideas for improvements.
• Follow best practices for scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Learning and Growth:
  • Continuously learn and stay updated on new technologies and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Backend Developer with exposure to Node.js and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with server-side development and asynchronous programming.
• Understanding of database concepts and experience with relational or NoSQL databases.
• Basic knowledge of RESTful API design principles.
• Proficiency in code versioning tools (e.g., Git).

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Interest in containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with GraphQL.
