Join to apply for the SAP Consultant/Specialist role at Golabs Tech. We are seeking an experienced SAP Consultant to support the setup, configuration, and management of a newly purchased automation tool designed to streamline SAP archiving operations.

This role focuses on enabling full automation of the SAP archiving lifecycle, including automatic variant creation, automated archiving session execution, and ongoing monitoring.

The ideal candidate has deep hands‑on experience with SAP Archiving/ILM, strong techno‑functional skills, and the ability to collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure a smooth and optimized archiving process.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, configure, and manage the newly implemented SAP archiving automation software.
• Automate the creation of variants and execution of SAP archiving sessions.
• Lead end‑to‑end SAP Archiving implementation activities (preferably in SAP ECC).
• Execute archiving processes for PTP, OTC, FICO, SD, and other functional modules.
• Support archiving as part of migration or system conversion projects.
• Configure standard and custom archive objects (ArchiveLink, SARA).
• Define archiving rules and policies through ILM; support archiving strategy execution and monitoring.
• Work with DMS solutions (SAP and non‑SAP), such as Content Server and IBM CommonStore.
• Use reporting tools to retrieve and manage archived data efficiently.
• Perform thorough testing and validation of archiving processes.
• Collaborate with functional teams, stakeholders, and client groups to gather requirements.
• Coordinate team efforts and manage communication with cross‑functional teams.
• Apply knowledge of ILM scenarios, including GDPR, ILM Snapshot, Retention Management, and Retention Warehouse.
• Support audit‑related requirements and object‑specific policy configurations.
• Manage blocking and retrieval of archived data through PBS & AIS.
• Utilize or integrate third‑party archiving tools such as OpenText and PBS.

Requisitos

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in SAP implementations and configuration, interested in Archiving, ILM implementation, deployment, and support.
• English level B2 or above is required.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP ECC archiving end‑to‑end projects.
• Experience with TJC ASC archiving software (configuration and operations).
• Strong techno‑functional skills (ABAP + Basis exposure).
• Experience gathering requirements and defining scope with business and technical teams.
• Knowledge of ILM scenarios such as retention management, conversion projects, GDPR, etc.
• Experience with SAP and non‑SAP DMS solutions (Content Server, IBM CommonStore).
• Strong experience in archiving for PTP, OTC, FICO, SD, and related modules.
• Familiarity with third‑party archiving tools (OpenText, PBS).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
• Open to learning new tools, processes, and methodologies.
• Soft skills: Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Comfortable working with distributed and cross‑functional teams.
