Overview
Build a sales relationship with customers.
Actively and proactively listen, probe, identify technical and sales concerns, and deliver solutions.
- Fully understand the customer's business and "speak their language".
- Develop and implement strategies for End Users and OEMs for sales growth and penetration increase.
- Develop new business opportunities to increase sales into the market.
- Forecasting and delivering against substantial revenue targets and achieve the assigned sales target
- Identify the market requirements and specifics, develop and execute the strategies and tactics for growth of orders and profitability.
- Lead the development, reviewing process and communicate the consistent business development plan for designated area of responsibility to Copeland organization.
- Actively visit existing customers and seek new opportunities to promote products, services and solutions of Emerson Portfolio.
- Actively support all people management related tasks with the support of available HR team.
- Identify the needs and actively support the process of skills and talents development withing the designated team using available Performance excellence process and tools.
- Maintain and regularly update business expectations within the designated Cold Chain sales team using S&OP Processes.
- Participate in customer development activities as trade shows, fairs, conferences aiming to promote the sale of products, solutions and services of designated portfolio.
- Improve customer satisfaction by understanding, communicating and executing solutions to their needs.
- Cooperate closely with operations, engineering services, project execution and service teams to ensure the appropriate delivery of commitments to customer and maximize the customer's overall satisfaction.
- Ensure that all transactions are properly screened and recorded in accordance with the company's Trade Compliance procedures and to elevate any concerns or questions to the local Gatekeeper.
- Retention and winning new customers with sales growth and profitability.
- Improve Accuracy and Quality Information for Sales Forecast.
- Request support and communicate effectively with other business units globally.
- Work in conjunction with the Technical and Sales Team on seeking out, targeting, and initiating contacts with prospective customers.
Experience
- Deep understanding of Commercial Refrigeration and Energy Management systems, equipment, components, and electronics.
- Able to comfortably and easily use conventional computer equipment and software, including word processing & spreadsheet.
- Deep knowledge of Food Retail Market and Buying Practices; experience working in or selling into retail accounts, supermarkets, convenience stores, but also pharmacy or dollar chains
- Intermediate to advanced HVAC, lighting, refrigeration, and electronic controls experience
- Able to discuss with customers on all aspects of Commercial Refrigeration and Energy Management technologies.
Willingness to travel - Customers in different cities : Mexico and Central America.
