Your role and responsibilities
  • General Ledger Management: Recording and maintaining all financial transactions in the general ledger.
  • Month‑End Closing: Manage month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
  • Financial Reporting: Generating and distributing financial reports.
  • Variance Analysis: Review and analyse financial reports, highlighting discrepancies or trends for further investigation.
  • Reconciliation: Ensure reconciliation of balance sheets, general ledger, intercompany transactions, fixed assets and inventory recording, treasury and management reporting.
  • Continuous Improvement & Best Practices: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the RTR function.
  • Compliance and Audit Support: Assisting with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Required technical and professional expertise

The Senior Record-to-Report (RTR) Analyst will be responsible for leading and managing end-to-end RTR processes within the Finance Centre of Excellence (COE). This role ensures accurate financial reporting, strong compliance, and continuous process improvement, primarily supporting the manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end Record-to-Report (RTR) process.
  • Oversee General Ledger activities, ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions.
  • Lead month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
  • Prepare and distribute financial reports.
  • Perform variance analysis, identifying trends and discrepancies.
  • Ensure balance sheet and GL reconciliations, including:
    • Intercompany transactions
    • Fixed assets
    • Inventory
    • Treasury and management reporting
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance RTR efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding RTR processes.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the RTR team.
Required Experience & Skills
  • Strong foundation in accounting principles, including local GAAP and IFRS.
  • Approximately 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in:
    • Financial analysis and variance analysis
    • Trend identification and interpretation
    • Regulatory compliance and financial controls
  • Hands‑on experience managing SOX compliance and internal control testing.
  • Experience leading process assessment and transformation, including digital enablement.
  • Strong problem‑solving and time‑management skills, especially during period close.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
